Growing Our Membership Base

Did you know SNAL has over 2500 members? Our goal this year is to grow by 5% or even better reach 3,000! Growth will come from school districts and members creating awareness about the many benefits of SNA-SNAL membership. We need your help to grow SNA of Louisiana, so spread the word. SNAL membership committee will be visiting districts around the state to encourage and boost membership.

Our Focus

SNAL works really hard to advocate for Child Nutrition Programs. Stay tuned this year to learn about ways you can participate in advocacy efforts at the state or federal level. Your messages and voices are powerful...we will keep you posted through email or Face Book to let you know when that time comes

SNAL is calling all future leaders!  New this year, SNAL will hold a Leadership Academy.  This academy will provide members an opportunity to grow as a leader, learn about governance & parliamentary procedure, group dynamics, and team building.  Spaces are limited to 25 people and registration will open August 1, 2017.   Make sure you are willing to commit to 3-8 hour classes scheduled throughout the year.  Visit the Face book page and website by following the link below for more information and the registration form.

As you can see, SNAL has a busy year ahead filled with many opportunities to grow, network, and  as always have some fun!  I look forward to serving as your president.  If I can assist or support you in any way this year, please do not hesitate to reach out.   I would like to wish everyone the best of luck for the 2017-2018 school year!

Warmest Regards,
