Snal Conference 2017 Sneak Peek!
Howdy Folks! Are you ready for a showdown? Well grab your boots and bandanas and head on over to Cajun Country for a one of a kind SNAL Conference because there is going to be a
SNAL Showdown in Cajun Town!
SNAL Conference 2017 will be held in Cajun Country in the beautiful city of Lafayette, La. Mark your calendars now for June 13 – 15, 2017. Teresa Brown, SNAL Program Chair, is working hard securing speakers and wonderful breakout sessions that will appeal to everyone. The recently renovated Doubletree by Hilton Hotel located at 1521 Pinhook Road will serve as the headquarters. Two Double Bed Room reservations are $119 per night plus sales and occupancy tax. Transportation will be provided from the headquarters to the activities occurring on Thursday at the Convention Center on 444 Cajundome Blvd in Lafayette. Transportation is only available from the Doubletree for conference attendees so make your hotel reservations soon.
Tired of the same conference layout and activities, then you will not want to miss this conference! The conference committee has planned new activities and speakers so make sure you read your conference packet well so you do not miss out. Conference packets will be mailed out in January 2017 and will also be available on our awesome SNAL website.
Door prize and silent auction donations are welcomed and can be arranged with Dru LeVrier, Supervisor of Allen Parish. She can be contacted via email at Drusilla.LeVrier@allen.k12.la.us. Information will be sent out in March 2017 with details.
Regardless of what is planned for our attendees or what treats and surprises we have in store for you, the true success of conference lies in YOU, our attendees. We always look forward to seeing everyone and networking new School Nutrition ideas and techniques, but we truly enjoy just being with fellow SNAL members and enjoying each other’s company. SNAL conference allows you to recharge your “work” outlook and get back to the true purpose of our jobs, feeding our children. Conference Chairs, Angela Broussard and Clair Angelle Blanchard, would like to extend a personal invitation to everyone to join us in Lafayette in June 2017. We look forward to seeing you there!
