SNAL EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
The Employee of the Year award recognizes non-managerial school nutrition employees for the contributions they have made throughout their school nutrition career.Employee of the Year Award winners will be recognized at SNAL’s state conference and SNA’s Annual National Conference each year. Award winners will receive the prizes below:
- State winners will receive a plaque (SNAL’s state conference), certificate and ribbon.
- Regional winners will receive a pin, certificate, and $50.
- National winners will receive a plaque and an all-expense paid trip to ANC, up to $1,000. Expenses include ANC registration, airfare, ground transportation, and lodging.
MEET THE 2015 SNAL EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Karen Williams is an employee of Orleans Parish School Board Child Nutrition Department. She is employed at Lusher Middle and High school. She has 12 years of expereince as a technician and 4 years as a manager. She cooks, bakes, and does her job with great pride and dignity to produce great quality of food. Mrs. Williams is happily married to Mr. Emery Williams for 29 years and has three children Dianelle, Jamal, and Darrius, and six grandchildren. She is a teamplayer and goes above and beyon the call of duty.
