Lafayette Convention Center

Welcome to the Lafayette Convention Center where we bring your events to life!

Opened April 30, 2002 next to the Cajundome, the Convention Center offers over 72,000 square feet on two levels, including; over 37,300 square feet of exhibition area, nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities, 5,000 square-foot mall area for concerts or RV, boat and sports shows plus lobby and reception areas.

DROP OFF / PICK UP LOCATIONS

Guest, limo and taxi drop off is located at the south end of the arena on Reinhardt Street next to the Convention Center. Vehicles dropping off or picking up guests are not allowed to sit or park. Unattended vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed at owner's expense.

PARKING

Parking for CAJUNDOME events vary. Our Facility Services Director will organize your parking needs.

Parking is available in a four-story garage adjacent to Convention Center and is connected to the Convention Center through a covered walkway. Parking is currently $7 per car, per day and has 800 spaces. The SCC also offers exhibitor parking and a marshalling yard.

Driving Directions From Little Rock, Arkansas, To Shreveport Convention Center:
Take I-30 West to Hwy 29 (Exit 31). Hwy. 29 turns into Hwy 3 after you cross the state line. Take Hwy. 3 (Benton Road) into Bossier City. At the junction with I-20, go west on I-20. Take exit 19A, the US-71 North / SR-1 North / Spring St. exit. Turn left onto SR-173 / Caddo St.

From Hope, travel south on Highway 29 for about 48 miles. At the state line Highway 29 becomes Highway 3, travel south for about 36 miles, traveling through Bossier City and past the junction of Highway 3/Benton Road and I-220. At the junction with I-20, go west on I-20. Take exit 19A, the US-71 North / SR-1 North / Spring St. exit. Turn left onto SR-173 / Caddo St.
