SNAL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY April 5, 2019
SNAL is calling all future leaders! New this year, SNAL will hold a Leadership Academy that will provide members an opportunity to grow as a leader,
learn about governance & parliamentary procedure, group dynamics, and team building. Spaces are limited to 25 people and registration will
open TBA 2019. Make sure you are willing to commit to 3-8 hour sessions scheduled throughout the year. The first 2019 leadership Academy will
be held on April 5, 2019 at a venue TBA, followed by the final session being held at next years SNAL Annual State Conference in New Orleans
on June 18. 2018

and submitted by 4:00pm TBA, 2019 to Melissa Campbell. The packets will be reviewed by the SNAL Professional Development Committee and an email

Class size is limited to 25 people. Selection will be done by SNAL Professional Development Committee and applicants will be notified by
Participants MUST be current members of SNAL and your application MUST be signed by your system School Nutrition Director/Supervisor.
Leadership Academy Graduation
Your graduation from the Leadership Academy will be in June 2019 at the SNAL Annual Conference in New Orleans.
Leadership Academy Overview
The purpose of the Leadership Academy is to train SNAL Members who show leadership potential and take on additional roles and responsibilities
within SNAL, at the local level, and eventually at the state level.
Leadership Academy Cost
Cost - 150.00 per Participant. Cost covers meals, materials, and speakers. Consider covering the cost through your local district or chapter
